iMac 20" 2.4GHzStrengths: All-In-One Design, Leopard OS, Built-in Wireless Weakness: Screen viewing angle, No sleep light This is my third iMac and continue to be pleased by Apple's continued refinement of the iMac product line. This device is currently the entry level model of the iMac line. I purchased it for my children to use. Since the computer this one replaced was a Mac Mini, all the data, applications, and settings were transferred via the initial start-up. I knew going into the purchase that the 20" model...

iMac 20" - 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1Gb DDR2, 250Gb...Strengths: Display, can't-beat interface, build quality, ease of use Weakness: Expensive relative to comparable PCs This is my first Apple computer since my Apple II+ in 1980. Apple's intuitive OS and interface can't be beat, everything is plug-and-play, and the display is impressive. The machine is fast enough for photo editing and rarely freezes/crashes. As always, Apple delivers with its innovative and beautiful packaging and design. Apple products just make you "feel good" unlike most any other...

Apple iMac (20-inch, 2.4GHz)
THE GOOD: Industry-leading design; best all-in-one overall for its price; strong digital media performance; broad range of connectivity options; easy-to-use operating system. THE BAD: Smaller screen than some newer all-in-ones; puny hard drive for its price; disproportionately expensive memory upgrades; lame 90-day phone support. THE BOTTOM LINE: Apples smaller-scale iMac remains our favorite... Top

Apple iMac (2008) | 2" display version
On August 7th, 2007 Apple released the second generation of its Apple iMac powered by an Intel processor (aka Aluminum iMac). The most significant changes are to the iMacs aesthetic; Apple has replaced their signature sleek white plastic enclosure in favor of a combination anodized aluminum and glass. Simply great
Strengths: Ease of setup - came home from work and had it setup and connected to wifi in 15min
Weakness: None found yet.
Thanks for quick response from Provantage; placed order on Tues evening and was delivered on Fri. This is my first Apple in 30yrs and it was so very easy to setup and get going. I still have alot to learn since I've been so buried in windows, but the learning curve is simple so far. 20" display is very clear and bright - perfect! I am already familiar with Firefox so loaded that and was off and...
