Second reason was I was tired of using walmart/target type 10-20 bucks remotes which doesn't do anything. And lastly, I got great deal on Dell's site for this remote (under 80 bucks). All I had to do was plug the new remote into my laptop PC, login to Harmony, and programing the remote was done in a few minutes. All of my old settings transferred over without a hitch.
